Dobby's story:

In the progressive 80s, Dobby used to be an active climate protector. He was full of energy and motivation to change fundamental structures and to revolutionize the society. Dobby had great plans for the future. In a heavy car accident, he suddenly lost all his sense in life.

With his strong limp he was so slow that he lost the ability to follow his passions and dreams he once had as a young man. Over the time he became more and more calm, frustrated and depressed. His dreams and future were hit by the car as hard as he was.

His favorite song is "Hurt" by Johnny Cash.

Dobby's real story:

Dobby came to us at night while it was raining hard and cold. A little puppy with piercing eyes. All the dogs somehow accepted him at once and so he stayed. Dobby was an active puppy, running and playing a lot with the other dogs. One afternoon he was hit by a car and we urgently took him to a doctor in Tbilisi. He has a problem with his leg ever since, it seems his joint has not fully recovered as he does not step on the injured leg often. Dobby had a lot of anxiety after the accident, plus he was castrated at that clinic. He wasn't himself for two months but he's better now, he's grown into a beautiful fluffy dog, with the nicest fur. Gentle and soft Dobby!

Gunter's story:

Gunter joined the navy as soon as he turned 18 to leave his loveless hometown and childhood years behind. The navy made him tough and question his sexual orientation. Throughout his life, he felt an incurable sense of loneliness which does not remain hidden in his eyes. From time to time, he visits hardstyle parties where he enjoys to jump around in moshpits and take cocaine. When someone falls during such wild dancing ceremonies, he is the first to help people get back on their feet.

His favorite song is "I Want to Break Free" by Queen!

Gunter's real story:

Gunter appeared at Chateau Chapiteau only recently. He arrived from the woods and waited patiently while all our dogs bullied him and tried to get him to leave. We don't know his past, but he looks like a strong and muscular fighter. After only a couple of days he learned how to play with the other dogs. He never shows any aggression towards people, and to other dogs only if he has a good reason. He has loyal and slightly guilty eyes, and he obeys well. He likes to be close to people, often standing by your side, resting his face on your hands or legs. Gunter is very grateful for his new home and always tries to do his guarding job perfectly.

Choco's story:

Choco is marked by a lack of love in her childhood. Her parents put her on the street as an insecure teenager, where she lived until she arrived in Chapiteau. She started being overly friendly to anyone, so she would be liked and accepted. Like that Choco was never really able to build up her own will. Saying no or denying brings her back to the childhood trauma of being hated and excluded again. Sometimes she goes so overboard with her friendliness, that people start being annoyed by her. People say that she is kind of an easy girl too. She is said to be seen in a romantic relationship with Almaz, another Chapiteau resident. After the new member of our community named Gunter arrived, she had her eyes fully on him, completely denying her affair with Almaz. Alpha dogs seem to be her type.

Her favorite song is "Baby One More Time" by Britney Spears.

Choco's real story:

Every time we went to the market, we saw this little girl near a large and conspicuous tree. She was confused and not in very good shape. After a couple of weeks, we gave up and decided to take her with us. Now this fluffy chocolaterie will be the first to try to jump into your arms and get more attention and affection, she can never have enough. As she is the smallest and very harmless, other dogs have taken her in easily, playing with her like a puppy.

Lapa's story:

Lapa's life is marked by many hurdles. She arrived at Chapiteau's community as a single mum with her two little children. Shortly after, Lapa lost both of her children to a strong virus. In more vague circumstances, she lost half of her eyesight as well as feeling in one of her legs. In order to keep bad thoughts away, Lapa practices two hours of mindfulness meditation in the morning, followed by an hour of Hatha Yoga, some heart chakra chanting, and a singing bowl session. Like that, she maintains a light and breezy mind.

Her favorite song is "Nothing Compares to You" by Sinead O´Connor.

Lapa's actual story:

This girl had no easy fate. She came to Chateau Chapiteau in a cold winter and brought two puppies with her. The third one didn't make it to us as she died in the woods on the way. A bit later the two remaining puppies also died of enteritis. We decided to name her Lapa because she was limping on her hind leg which was probably broken in an accident. Lapa was also very greedy for food, maybe because she wasn't fed enough. We had to teach her to be calmer when feeding and she became much better at it. One of Lapa's eyes is blind which was possibly the result of an accident as well. Lapa was also afraid of the leash, maybe because she was chained for a long time. After her sterilization, she has become quiet and cheerful. She likes to chase cows and cars, swim in the river or walk in the woods. Lapa loves people, treats and petting. She is one of the most loved dogs by people and friendly to other dogs.

In April 2022, Gvozdyk was very ill and was completely without strength, we did not know what was happening to him, he was losing his fur, was thinning before our eyes, was not eating and almost did not walk on his own. Everyone was sure he was going to die. We began to take care of them, taking them several times to the clinic. Gvozdik had an abdominal infection, but eventually we began to treat him and now he is a full-grown, affectionate adult cat!

now we have a lot of hens! they usually lay eggs that we use in cooking, but sometimes they hide these eggs in the woods and new chicks hatch from them! you can feed the hens, name your new hen, or even take one home with you!
